Nate, you need to factor top and bottom using

the product-sum method. You can't cancel the x^2

on top and bottom. There should be 2 parentheses on

the top and 2 on the bottom. I'll tell you that the top

factors to (x-3)(x-4)

I may be wrong but I believe they are referencing the places of the ratio, with a/b and c (5)/d. In this case it would be D as the last proportional, but my theory is theoretical, and is not based upon an equation.

If you get the x variables and the

y variables on the opposite sides

I think that because they are congruent, you would set AB as one and then AC as it is in relation to AB.

I figured that since AB and BC are congruent, then AC is twice as long as AB, so I got the ratio 1:2

You would subtract 15 on both sides then prime factor 15 and get the square root of 15
