Pygmalion is a play which was written in 1912 by George Bernard Shaw. 

I saw it for the first time in a little theatre that it is situatedbeside my school.

In this play an insolent and eccentric professor of phoneticsbets with his friend, colonel Pickering, to manage teachingto a kind but illiterate florist, Eliza Doolittle, the english grammar and how to speak english correctly. Then it startsa really strict education. 

During these lessons Eliza meets Freddy a very fascinatingand honest man who is attracted by her.
When she finally can speak and talk a fluent and correctenglish, mr. Higgins, the professor, invites her to a party where he pretends her to be a rumanian duchess, but thatpretense turns against him and at the end of the story sheteaches to him that it’s not the outward appearance thatmakes a real lady but what really matters is her personality.

I think that this performance was really absorbing and exciting because the actors were really good at acting and they were so captivating; furthermore the story that wastold it’s amazing just because it helps everyone of us toknow that it’s not about what we show , but who we are.
