Pablo Escobar's pride was similar to Hamlet's pride. Hamlet was a Danish prince who was looking to avenge his dead father and was willing to do about anything to achieve his goal. This was similar to Pablo because he was also willing to do anything to let his family stay untouched and also to let his name respected. Even when talking to his dad he never lost pride. Both of them felt a little guilt for the murders they committed.
