The assembly line was a very efficient way to mass produce products. This means that it was a great way to make a lot of a product very fast. The assembly line originally came from Henry Ford. The assembly line also opens up a lot of jobs for people. Every person in the assembly line has a step of building something, that they repeat over and over.
