This is Munchi & Weasely. Weasely (the ginger cat) was very wild when we rescued him in August 2013. We discovered Munchi in January 2014. Someone had dumped him when he was very tiny. These cats are very happy at our house.

Spike - the last one of the litter.........

In February 2012, there was a litter of 5 kittens. Spike is the “last Mohican” - all by himself in the junkyard. Because he had a huge scratch on his left eye, we called him “Spike”. He is Weasely’s brother. You can see the difference in their living conditions.

We captured Spike in July 2014 and took him straight to the vet. We were hoping to find him a home. The vet de-sexed, immunised him and told us that he had the FIV / cat virus. This is Spike in a cat cage, in our garage recovering from his operation.
As much as we’d love to, we are not able to keep Spike. We can only have two cats due to council laws.

As much as we tried, we could not find ahome or shelter for Spike.

He needs a home .......just like we gave Weasley and Munchi a second chance.

Sadly, we released Spike back into the junkyard. When we let him out of the cage, he seemed very happy to be set free. He did not hiss, scratch or spit once whilst he was in our care. He was a very placid cat, given his circumstances.
At 6:00pm every night we go to the junkyard in Airport West (a 3km drive from home) and put lots of delicious food and fresh milk for him, so he is healthy and in good condition.
Spike is always waiting for us. He looks at us and his little head follows us when we walk away.

He seems a very smart cat who will be easy to socialize. Do you know someone who can save Spike? Send a message via facebook.
