Once things begin to go wrong in Barbies perfect world her friends tell her she needs to go see weird barbie which is the Barbie who has already had everything that is happening to Barbie happen to her. Weird Barbie tells her that she has to go into the real world and find the girl playing with her to stop these things from happening. This is the assistance part because Weird Barbie is known as the one who helps in these situations and weird barbie sends her off into the real world to figure out what she needs to fix.

After speaking to weird barbie she realizes she has to go to the real world. She then makes her departure from her perfect Barbie land. This world is not centered around Barbie and removes her from the status quo making it the departure from her regular world.

After Barbie left the Barbie world to go to the real world she had many things to adapt to. She knew that she had to find her human playing with her but she also wanted to fit into the world. She also had to deal with patriarchy, she noticed the limitations and biases of the real world and decides the confront them. While in the real world she struggles with her insecurities and has to get passed them to continue her journey.

When Barbie entered the real world there were many things she had to get used too. One of them being the complexities of the real world compared to the limitations in barbie land. She is on a quest to find out the meaning of being a human. When the Mattel black suits catch up with Barbie and she is willing to go with them back to headquarters. She thinks they are helping her but they are actually capturing her.

When Barbie is at Mattel she is shocked to find out that there are so women leaders working there. The CEO convinces her that she should get in a Barbie box, while they are twisting the tie she breaks free and escapes. She runs into a room with a women named Ruth, Barbie talks about how the real world is nothing how she thought it would be, they are about to have a important conversation when the black suits close in. Ruth helps Barbie out and she finds Gloria. Barbie then finds out that Sasha is not her human it is Gloria.

Barbie is able to final realize that her imperfections and flaws are total normal and she is able to embrace them. She realizes with the help of her girls mother that the flaws are part of human life and she is able to bring that back into the Barbie world. She doesn't realize that this is her treasure but when they get back to the real world she is able to take what she has learned about human life and use it to help the Barbies make life fair again and make a plan to fix the Kens who had taken over.

Eventually Barbie regains control of Barbie land and she achieves a deeper understanding of herself and of the real world. She decides to expect the complexities of human life. She finally realizes she doesn't need to be perfect all the time and it is okay to mess up. And everyone is happy and things can go back to normal once again.

Barbie is back in her regular world with all the Barbies and the girls have restored their power. All the barbies then realize that they all took advantage of each other and all now know why this is wrong because of the reward of knowledge Barbie was able to bring back into the real world. This is the new life because Barbie is back fully instated into her world but with the new knowledge she was able to help all of the barbies and help Sasha and Gloria in the real world realize that their flaws are normal and Barbie is able to help herself realize these things to.
