I had wanted an eyeshadow palette for so long. My parents told me, “If you really want something, save up for it you’ll appreciate it more.”

So I did. I skipped snacks, saved birthday money, and slowly watched my savings grow.

When I finally bought it, it wasn’t just makeup it was proof that I could work for what I want.
