         <description><![CDATA[<div>S- George Bush, president of the United States<br>P- To uplift and unify the citizens of the United States, as well as inform them about what actions the government is taking.<br>A- Citizens of the United States<br>C- After the 9/11 terrorist attack<br>E- The 9/11 attack happened and there was a need to address the grief of the American people<br>C- Bush chose his words carefully to help calm down America  and give them strength<br>A- Appeals to pathos/emotions because this terrorist attack ended the lives of thousands and hurt the country<br>T- The tone switched from grieving for the lost lives, to inspiring the Americans to have strength, to a sort of justice tone saying the government will find those responsible.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Address his situation and talk others who have been by his side <br>A- Audience were his fans, his mentors, his friends and family, and even his baseball rivals<br>C- He was the "greatests sluggers of all time" and he had a cruel fate where he suffered from a disease which is making him weak. He talked about his illness and retirement<br>E- His fans chanted to see him again<br>C- Lou called the disease he had a "bad break". He did this to downplay his disease, and allow his and to know that he can fight through this<br>A- He creates this credibility and evokes a heartfelt response(pathos)<br>T- Sincere , hopeful/positive</div>]]></description>

He presents himself as a humble person.<br>P- Einstein answers the  young school girl, as well as make her think deeply about the relationship between science and religion.<br>A- Phyllis Wright  and anyone else questioning the ties between science and religion.<br>C- exchanging of letters<br>E- the letter from phyllis is what provoked einstein's response<br>C-He chose to speak to her as an equal rather than talking down on her or putting himself above her. He also tried to use words she could understand.<br>A- Ethos: nobel prize winning scientist; Pathos: teaching, inspiring;Logos: he speaks from his personal beliefs and experiences.<br>T- Einstein's attitude toward Phyllis is helpful and kind. He wishes her well and tries his hardest to help her when he could've ignored her.<br><br></div>]]></description>
