All my life, I have been close to soils, starting with helping my mother growing vegetables in her garden and taking different measure to keep the soil fertile, like composting, crop rotation, incorporation of horse manure.
That is the reason why I decided  to study Horticulture.

I have recently joined Naturland e.V. to support the Team International on different topics such as soil health, biological control and education. Therefore I thought the annual World Soil Day would be a good medium to talk about the challenges of keeping soils healthy and productive.
