I know this because in chapter one sawyer is calm and quiet and then comes to chapter eight sawyer is trying to figure out how winter's spine bent the other way and has broken. Also being a genius and getting worried about winter because if winter swims anywhere around the world, Winter could die and In the book in says that " he realized that it didn't matter what he said.
