In ancient Egyptian government, they were a theocracy monarchy. A theocracy is a type of government ruled by god or gods. A monarchy is a type of government ruled by a descendant of a single family. The pharaohs were the head of the state and representative of gods on earth. The Egyptians depended on their religion for taxes, laws, labor, trade, and defense.

The ancient Egyptian religion was a complex system of polytheistic beliefs and rituals. It is centered around interaction with deities who are believed to have control over nature and natural forces. The practice of the ancient religion was to provide for the gods and gain their favor. The religion is also centered around the pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Although he was human he was believed to be descended from the gods.

The ancient Egyptian economy relied on the Nile River. They used the Nile River for irrigation for crops, trade, and access to other countries. Without the Nile River they wouldn't have crops to trade and even water to live. They used a barter system for their economy.
