I have learned that the difference among tsunami, storm surge,Seiche and tidal wave are: tsunami is cause by under sea disturbance while storm surge is cause by strong wind and low pressure of typhoon. Tidal wave is due to moons gravity and seiche us a wave in an enclosed body of water.

I have learned the different indication that there will be a tsunami base on it shake, drop and roar indication. Shake if there is a seismic activity, Drop sudden withdrawal of the ocean water and roar signifies approaching tsunami wave. We also learn how to use geoanalytics, to determine tsunami data in a specific region.

I've learned that tsunamis and seiche are both water waves..Tsunamis are long wavelength waves caused by large-scale seafloor displacement while seiche are standing waves within partially or fully enclosed bodies of water.

I have learned that tsunamis have different stages, and these are generation, propagation and inundation. I also learned the differences among storm surge, sieche, tidal wave and tsunami. Learning the factors like wave speed, inundation, roughness and height that could affect the extent and possible effects or hazards of tsunami will greatly contributes to mitigate measures if this phenomenon will occur.
