Once I coloured the background using Quink Ink and a paint brush, I was able very delicately draw out my image in Miltons Fluid. Using a cocktail stick I had to remain very light on the hand as little bit of weight causes the fluid to spread and create thicker lines. Although unfinished, this piece catches my eye the most, as its so simple yet so effective. The fine effortless lines really make it stand out to me.

Using a paint brush in Quink Ink to create a background I was able to shape out my plant with Miltons Fluid and a cotton bud. The cotton bud gave me thick lines with little detail but overall still gave me my desired look. I found doing the more natural drawings more enjoyable due to to them having more detail and character.

This was my first go using the Quink Ink which wasn't very successful. I used a cotton bud and pieces of cardboard for this one. I found the ink harder to control using the cotton bud as it would release too much fluid and drip onto the paper. When using cardboard to make lines I found this even trickier, either too much ink would print or sometimes too little.

Brick Wall

On the theme of circle and lines I found that a brick wall had great parallel lines. Using black Quink Ink, a cocktail stick and Miltons Fluid I was able to draw up a simple but effective representation of a wall. With the help of a ruler and cocktail stick I was able to create fine lines that resemble the wall, although I a few mistakes overall I think it turned out well.
