My first day of high school

One of the top 5 moments of 2024 is the first day of high school. Experiencing and starting high school for the first time was one of the coolest moments of 2024. It was very cool seeing a bigger school and seeing so much more to do/go. Seeing how I would spend my last teenage years here was pretty cool to think about. High school was fun because I had classes with my friends and we had a good first day spending together in class. The first day was filled with excitement and confidence. What was cool on the first day was seeing the cheerleaders welcome the new kids in the school. I remember meeting up with my friends at lunch and spending it together kind of surprised how cool high school is. The teachers made the day better by not assigning homework like I thought they would on the first day. I would love to experience the first day of high school again.

Making the basketball team

Probably the greatest moment in 2024 was making the basketball team for Diamond Ranch. I have never felt so proud of how good I did. What was crazy was that there were only 2 days of tryouts and I could only go to one, and since I could only go to one, I was sure that I wouldn't make the team. Then I ended up making the team and it was one of the happiest days of my life. Only having one day to make it and stand out to the coaches is so amazing to me. Basketball has been so fun and tiring so far for the past months. Since September we have been practicing and learning plays and getting in good shape. I hope I continue to get better and score points. Also to improve my skills.

8th grade P.E

My 8th grade P.E. was probably the greatest class I ever had in my life. I had my whole gang there. Maybe like 2 or 3 of them didn't have that P.E. but it was still so fun without them. My friends and I had the greatest time in P.E., even in the locker room we all chose our lockers close together like one whole area or the locker room was ours. We all had so much fun playing sports together and always being a team. We once had to do a unit about dancing and we all had to make up a dance and perform it. Once we performed it, we were all smiling and laughing while dancing. We also would play kickball and we already had our team ready. We also had a small football tournament with our class, and we all got together as a team and had fun playing. I think we had 2nd place. It was the funniest class I will ever have.

Summer of '24

My summer in 2024 was really fun. One time in summer, my friends and I went to my friend Jayden's house to swim in his pool. Then we ate pizza and watched a soccer game. Then another time, me and three different friends went to Get Air. We did flips and played a game of dodgeball. Then another time, we went to my friend Rey's house and also swam in his pool and we also had pizza and had fun in his room. Then with the friends that went to Jayden and Rey's house, we went to Get air. We played hide and seek and tag. We also played a game of dodgeball. I had an amazing summer. I hope to continue to make memories in the summer of 2025.

Christmas

Christmas this year was different from all the other years. We usually have it at my grandma's house but we couldn't since she had moved out and wasn't ready to host Christmas at her new house. So we had it at my cousin's house and made it seem like it was still my grandma's house. We still made tamales at her house, played games, and still had the same spirit as at my grandma's house. The tamales we made were so good. The games we played were also really fun. We played a game where we had to pick up chocolate kisses with candy canes. We also had pozole had hot chocolate. The pozole was bomb. Christmas was pretty fun for that different year.
