This is a good movie I really like it. Café·Waiting·Love also pass my three test questions. The first test is ”Good filming angle.” There are many great filming angles which attract me a lot. Then, the second test is “Funny.” Many plots of the film are funny. It is really an interesting movie. In addition, there is a deep meaning behind the movie. We are all waiting for someone who won’t come back; we always neglect those who care us form the bottom of their hearts. It’s a pity that we can’t discover the happiness in our life. This is the third test “Story implication.” It also pass. Therefore, Café·Waiting·Love is a great movie in my mind. It is worthwhile.

Reflection

  After reading this article, I think superheroes can have some powerful impacts on children's behavior. We all need a role model to learn and to imitate, and so do children. Superheroes are easily to be children's role model because they usually have a sense of justice and fight against the bad. In the article, some psychologists point to differences between past and now. Lamb said that today's superhero is aggressive and rarely speaks to the virtue of doing good for humanity. I agree his point of view, but the key to this question is their parents. They should tell their kids what they should not do. Although it may be hard work to carry out, I think the advantages outweigh their disadvantages. Except for this question, I think modern superheroes have a positive influence on children. They give children confidence and wonderful childhood. In the 21st century, the media affects us a lot. It's crucial to choose good movies or cartoons to watch. With these shows, our life can become more interesting. Children also need these shows to polish their childhood. Maybe they will be good guys like Superman or Spider-Man in the movie someday.

Reflection

  After reading this article, I think there are so many things impossible in the world to us. However, billions of people living on this planet, many things we can't imagine still happen every day. David Blaine is the greatest magician and illusionist. He has finished lots of fascinating performances since April 1999. Each of his endurance challenges was incredible. It must take him plenty of time on training. His unique magic style successfully attracted our attention. How does he make it? While he was little, he had started practicing magic and endurance challenges hard. Addition to his talent, he became a professional magician. 

  David Blaine successfully achieved his goal, and so can we. I believe nothing is impossible when we determine to do something. Of course, we have to make an all-out effort on it. "You can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them." Shonda Rhimes said. Therefore, we shouldn't restrict ourselves. Find out the goal worthy to do and keep going. Even if we fail it, still can tell ourselves we have tried. Don’t leave your life in regret.

Reflection

From past to now, each young adult must have stress. We all need to face lots of challenges. In the era of information explosion, although we have easy access to all sorts of information, it may become a kind of stress for us. The recession occurred when Millennials were graduating from high school or college. Finding works became harder and harder, so we need to pay much more effort. However, it seems that we are not always in a negative emotion. The reason is that we have more abilities to cope with stress when we become older. There are many ways to relieve our pressure. Exercise and meditation are good ways to deal with our stress. If the situation is serious, we can also see a psychiatrist or psychologist. Seeking professional help is a common way to reduce stress now. In short, we should find our own way to face stress. The only person we should try to be better than is the person we were yesterday.

The ice cap is a dome-shaped glacier, which covering Earth’s North and South Poles.

Nowadays, experts believe that polar ice caps are melting because of global warming.

 

These ice caps provide a home for animals, like seals, polar bears, and penguins. And  

Ice caps also act as a natural mirror of heat.

If global warming causes the ice caps to melt, sea levels around The World will rise. One of the biggest problems is that Earth's weather patterns might change. Also, life across the globe will be changed.

 

Recently, the number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere increased because of burning fossil fuel and releasing huge amounts of carbon dioxide which traps more heat from the sun. 

 

When our weather changed, even a little, Earth change a lot. some people may soon be forced to leave their home because of the rise of sea level.

 

On the one hand, rising sea level could flood coastlines. On the other hand, global warming can cause an extreme drought in places that are already wilting from the Heat.

 

Lakes and rivers on cold climate are freezing later and thawing earlier, that means sea level is rising. Then land masses over the world will flood. After that, Farmers would lose their crops because of the saltwater

 

You might say “None of this will happen in our lifetime.” Well, that may or may not be true. But it is certainly true that if we don’t fight global warming right now, future generations will pay the price.

So, we should take some actions to prevent these problems. For example,

We can pay more attention to how much water we used. Saving water is easy to make it. And, walking, riding a bike or taking public transportation are also good ways to do.

Today, I would like to share my role model to you guys.

Most of you may already know him because we all now study here in Taipei.

He is 柯文哲, the mayor of Taipei.

Before he became the mayor, he had been working in the NTU hospital for nearly 20 years.

From then on, he had finished many projects which dragged for a long time.

So he (received recognition/highly affirmed) for his performance.

In the years to come, he will continue to serve for the public.

 

OK. Now, I would like to tell you why I chose him as my role model. 

First of all, I appreciate his attitude toward everything. When he was frustrated, he found out his own way to face challenges. He said, ”We should do our best to everything. If we didn’t make an all-out effort on it, never expect for success.”

 

Another reason I like him is his unique personality. He insists on doing the right thing. I believe nobody can deny his remarkable ability and efficiency, even if he is a straightforward person and sometimes offend others.

 

In short, his ability and positive attitude are really `admirable.

 

Finally, I would like to encourage ourselves.

DO THE RIGHT THING, and DO THINGS RIGHT.
