We also thought it would be the toilet seats since people release gut bacteria and many other bacteria in that area, but the dirtiest thing we swabbed was the office pen. Many people coming into or going out of CHS use this pen and it never gets cleaned which means there is a lot of bacteria on their hands which then gets transferred to the pen. We also thought that the air vent wold have more since there was a lot of dust on the vent and it looked dirty, but there was more bacteria on the office pen.
