The volcano that I researched was Mauna Loa. Mauna Loa is located in Hawaii.The type of volcano is an active volcano and last erupted on November 27, 2022. Some other things that I learned were it's so big that it covers almost the whole island! Also, it is the largest active volcano. To top it off,  it has erupted 33 times.

The volcano l researched was Mount Tambora. Mount Tambora is located in Indonesia. This volcano is still active today. It last erupted in 1815. Some other facts that I learned about this was it is 9,348 feet tall (2,850 meters). Also, the caldera is 4 miles (6 kilometers) across. It also is 4,101  (1,250 meters) feet deep.

This volcano was one of the tallest peaks in the indonesian archipelago before 1815. On that fateful afternoon, this large volcano erupted with so much force that a very wide caldera formed from the blast. This caused over 160 cubic kilometers of ash to fly into the amosphere, creating a global famine for the rest of that year. The estimated death toll was up to 92,000 people, but, this was re-estimated to 71,000 people found dead. The very next year, the climate temp went down by 5.26 degrese farinhight People called this, "The Year Without A Summer."

The volcano I researched was Mount Tambora. Mount Tambora is located in Subwana , Indonesia. Mount Tambora is classified as an active volcano , and last erupted April of 1815. Before it's most recent eruption Tambora was about  14,000 feet tall but now Tambora is 9,348 feet tall.Some things I learned where that in 1815 when Tambora erupted it let out so much ash that all of the ash blocked out the sun. When that happened many crops died ,famines happened ,and the eruption also caused tsunamis that killed 10,000 .people and 35,000 homes. As a result 80,000 people died.I also learned that Tambora's 1815 eruption was the biggest eruption recorded in history.

This wiki is about Mount Tambora. This volcanic eruption caused ash to blanket the earth and the following year was known as "The Year  Without A Summer." The event was so devastating,it inspired many authors. One of them was famous English author Mary Shelley. It inspired her to write a book about a scientist who creates a monster known as Frankenstein's monster. Another author inspired by the same reason was Anne Rice. She created a character in a book known as Lestat de Lioncourt, also known as the first vampire.

The volcano I researched  is named Mount Tambora. The location of Mount tambora is  in indonesia. Mount tambora is a active volcano and erupted in 1815 then again in 1967 but it was smaller then finally  it erupted in 2011.When Mount Tambora erupted in 1815 it was the most powerful eruption in 10,000 years. Did you know that when Mount Tambora erupted in 1815 it killed 71,000 peple?Well now you know.
