As this trend continues, more and more marine life will suffer and begin to die.

The max solubility of oxygen in water at standard sea level air pressure can range from 15 mg/L at 0 degrees Celsius to as low as 8 mg/L at 30 degrees Celsius. This means that near freezing water can hold twice as much dissolved oxygen as warm water. Colder water is better able to hold dissolved oxygen and it is therefore better able to sustain life. The expected limit of dissolved oxygen at normal sea level air pressure falls between that range of 15-8 mg/L, but the "safe" range falls closer to 15 mg/L.
