named after his grand uncle Julius Caesar a famous Roman General

Augustas boosted Romes economy

He gave Rome its first firefighters police force

he repaired over 80 temples in Rome

Augustas ruled more than 50 million people in the Roman Empire.

Conqured cites that Augustas took were now turned into Roman provinces and used as a defender for the kingdom

Augustas pushed the empire's borders to better defend the Roman empire

Borders pushed to the Rhine and Danube rivers in the north, the Sahara in the south, and the Atlantic in the west

Roman empire needed a stronger economy so they added taxes

Rome used the money to create harbors and canals to improve trade

Augustas punished people who cheated (unfaithful) to there partners

In order to keep his family and himself safe Augustas made a private army to protect him

Even though the private army were to protect the emperor, many plotted against him

for about 200 years the Mediterranean world was at peace called the Pax Romana

Emperors of later years added territory from Britain to the Black Sea

The Romans took control of the mediterrian world cementing them as one of the most powerful empire in history.
