You may allow yourself to be sucked into what others have to say and believing that it is true, but it's up to you to think for yourself and form your own opinions. "You shoot me down, but I won't fall. I am titanium." and "Do not believe it. Nothing can bring you peace but yourself." These two quotes can be seen as similar because they can both be seen as hearing things that may be harmful to you, but not giving in to these beliefs. She published "A Vindication of the Rights of Woman" she argued that women have an important role in society and can offer a lot more than what they have been doing. At that time women's rights was a topic that wasn't talked about or advocated for at that time. His thoughts and ideas were the only thing that he listened to, even if his stubbornness led to his death. He is seen as misunderstood for putting himself though this journey that he went on, but he wanted to do it.
