by: Wei Soleha Binti Rosli (BS18110388)

i) Both chicken toe and allosaurus toe have similar shaped bones. They also have the metatarsal bone.

ii) In contrast, chicken toe bones are thinner than allosaurus toe bones. Chicken has opposable toes but allosaurus has non-opposable toes.

iii) It is important to consider differences in chicken and allosaurus. This is because the differences can differentiate between chicken and allosaurus, and it can discover if the evolution of chicken is from allosaurus.

iv) I think we compare objects, phenomena or ideas because it can enhance higher-order thinking skills. When we compare two objects, it needs higher-order thinking skills to find out their similarity as well as differences from all aspects. Next, comparing objects or ideas can help to develop the ability to present clear analyses of issues or ideas. The clear analyses of issues can help to write better in academic writing. Besides, comparing objects or ideas develops the ability in arguments by effectively using details, experiences and evidence. Comparing two objects can see two sides precisely and accurately, thus this information can help us to write better content.

In the picture that show chicken and allosaurus had the same shaped bones, which are called metatarsal bone.

2. The differences between chicken and allosaurus are their feet. As for chicken, it has a small and opposable toes. Meanwhile allosaurus got big and non-opposable toes.

3. As for me, similarities is the main important thing. As you see there are almost the same shaped toes. As what scientist said chicken are the evolution from allosaurus.

4. In academic study, comparison is to examine the similarities and differences between two or more objects. As it is to compare one product with others product which is the best product.

NAME: YUDHISTHRA SUBRAMANIAM

MATRIC NO: BB17211100

1. In the illustration one, we can agree that both chicken and allosaurus have an identical fundamental metatarsal bone. The shape and layout are pretty much the same.

2. Contrary, the allosaurus have bigger and larger feet as compared with the chicken. After careful inspection, we can also see that the toes differ from each other as well chicken have opposable toe and allosaurus have a non-opposable toe.

3. In my view, both similarities and differences are equally important to explain an issue/topic in a clear way. By using the illustration, as an example, we have seen that the layout of the feet in the same but not the entire piece and in-depth features are identical.

4. In an academic standpoint, both similarities and differences are crucial in providing a clear objective to readers. The similarities and differences give multi-angles approach when analyzing a topic, thus giving us an overall view regarding the topic as a whole.
