MOTHER - JACQUI
1.Their age and developmental stage
Jacqui is an adult (40 years old), because she's at a mature age her understanding and knowledge is greater through carrying the baby, going through the birth, having that strong, maternal/ biological connection to the baby through pregnancy. Therefore she would be experiencing grief and loss enormously.

2.Their gender
Female - strong maternal, biological connection to the baby.

3.History of loss/ trauma
Suffered from numerous miscarriages, has been undergoing fertility treatment for 3 years. Numerous unsuccessful pregnancies would make the situation worse. Jacqui would be feeling guilty, that there's something wrong with her, a disappointment to her husband and children and suffering from the loss of the attachment of the idea of raising the child, the person they'd become. Trauma of having to go through the birthing experience without the reward and having to tell friends and family and judgements that come with it.
