2^nd page is for the theme CULTURE: for this page you are expected to list the languages, religions, and traditions of your particular region.  State if your region is having a culture conflict or not.

3^rd page is for the theme Human Environmental Interaction: List or describe the human environmental interaction in your region:  For example:  humans have created more land for farming but have depleted the natural rain forest of its trees causing desertification.

 4^th page is for the theme MOVEMENT:  state the push and pull factors for this theme.  For example:  why would people come and live in your region and why would people move out of your region.  Wars are one reason and if so, which war and who is involved.

 5^th page is for the theme GOVERNMENT:  This page is where you can be creative.  List the different types of governments found around the world.  Provide how the citizens can participate and at what age are they allowed to vote.  Specify which one your region belongs to.  You can refer to pages 27-40 in your student work book. 

 6^th page is for the theme Time Change and Continuity:  you will identify things that have changed because of conflict.  You will also identify things that have stayed the same regardless of change.  You will see a five minute video form united streaming to give you a better example.

7^th page is for the theme Conflict and Change:  this will be a continuance of page 6.

 

8^th page is for the theme Production and Distribution:  you are expected to list the type of economies that exist in the world today.  You are to identify the types of goods and services your region provides.   Identify their trading partners and what goods do they import and export.

Please adhere to the following requirements in order to receive the maximum points for your notebook.  

1.       Missing assignments-  minus 10 pnts for each

2.       Incomplete assignments- minus 10 pnts each

3.       Notebook out of order- minus 5 points

4.       Table of Content not correct- minus 5 points

5.       Missing Table of Content- minus 10 pnts 

6.       Items that don’t belong in Notebook – minus 5 points

***Note:  All notebooks are due the day of the unit test.  10 points a day thereafter for being late.  You may copy close notes from another students or use padlet for close notes but you may not copy independent activities from another student.  This will result in a failing grade for your NOTEBOOK.  This is an easy 100 because of the time allocated during class to complete all work pertaining to the notebook grade.
