I don't know about you guys but sometimes after work I am ready to put my p.j.s on. I took Lucie for a walk and now it is time to relax. I wonder what you all are doing? Isn't it weird that we spend six whole hours together and then we spend time with our families? Then we come back, and do it all over again. We pack in so much learning over the span of our day. What do you think?

Today I was visiting my friend. She told me that she was going to the pool so I was a bit sad that I couldn't go too.Then I was allowed to dip my feet in but I still wanted to swim.
Then I found out that I could swim but not get my hair wet. Then I accidentally got my hair wet so yay! I could dunk my whole head in now! It was a fun time!

The book, first when you look at it you might think "Oh ,this is going to be boring!" but when you soon start to read it, you will want to read it again and again and you won't stop.
The book is about a boy named Milo who discovers a Phantom Tollbooth in his room. So when he goes inside he goes to the land of Dicinopolis (city of words) and even to the land of Digitopolis. Once you read the story, you will get it. there are sooo many made up things. I hope you will enjoy it!

Swimming

My swimming has been going well.I love swimming.It is fun but some times hard and tiring.My legs and my arms get sour also it is hard to do stuff like run and play tennis.But after a few hours the pain stops and I can play.It is cold when I swim because I am swimming at night time but it is daylight saving time I not swimming at night time the timing of my swimming does not change only sometimes it changes if it is to cold at 5:45.My swimming starts at 5:45 ends at 6:30.

Hello all! Have you ever read the book "Because of Winn Dixie"? Well we are reading it in class. It's a very good book. It's about a girl who moved somewhere new and she meets a dog at a grocery store called "Winn Dixie". Winn Dixie is also the name of her dog! Then, because of her dog, she gets a birthday invitation, makes new friends, and even get's along with two people who tease her. We haven’t finished the story yet, but as I was looking at my TV screen on Monday for some movies, I came across one that said "Because of Winn Dixie" ! So I think I am going to watch it and soon I will know everything about the story and maybe give some spoiler alerts to my friends when we get back from spring break!

Hello every one! Yesterday I found a microphone. It was given to me as a birthday gift from my cousin. I tried to sing the karaoke version of "Sing 2: A sky full of stars". It went sorta good sorta bad but I enjoyed it. But the microphone, when you turn it off it was very LOUD. But I enjoyed my time yesterday. I also got a sweet treat!

When I was typing something on the slice of life challenge about a thing that is flying I did'n know how to tell it so I press space for so long and then I deleted all the spaces then I hold the space bar and it as spacing super fast then I hold the backspace button and it deleted the spaces super fast.I was like um okay that is one way to delete fasst and space fast.

What I like to play in a park

What I like to play in the park is a game called Groundie. It's basically just tag but this is how it works. A person is it and they have to be on the ground and count to ten. Me and my friends like to do 1,2, skip a few! 6,7,8,9,10! That gives the other players time to go up on the play structure. Then the person who is it is supposed to tag someone but when they are on the play structure they have to have there eyes closed! If they think they are going to fall, then the can ask some one if it is true. Another way to tag someone is when someone is on the ground you shout"Groundie!" Then the whole process starts again!

Once night a boy had a ps4 he was waiting for the ps5 he though that I will just wait in till Christmas then he said let me go to sleep and think about it tomorrow so he went to sleep.The next day he got up and got ready but he so people standing at the game store and he looked on his computer and saw the ps5 was out so he rushed to the game store and he was waiting to open the game store then they opened it everyone came rushing to get the ps5 but it was so hard to get it because everone was pushing and fighting on it so the game manager kick everyone except him because he did't push or fight so he got it everyone was like that unfair why does you get it but he ignored them and went home to open it when he opened it he unplugged the ps4 ang plugged the ps5.And thats how he got a ps5 and this has a fairy tell.

My parents took me to Dinsneyland for my birthday. We had to walk soooo much. And talk about the waiting in line. But it was was so worth it.

My first ride was Gaurdians of the Galaxy. It was like I was flying!!!!!!! Even though the seat so tall for me that my feet did'nt touch the ground.😁

And on my birthday things were projected on the buildings and there was so much fireworks! For some reason they had much more fireworks than on a daily baises.

But the best of all I had sooooooooo much fun!

Weekend visit to Oakland Zoo celebrating 100th year

Last weekend was so fun, got to visit Oakland zoo with my family and I saw crocodiles and its fossils, river otters, bald head eagles, grey wolf and also I petted sheep. As well the wild animals. I saw condor about 9 feet long which was longer than my dad's arms. I saw the rainforest animals like gibbons and birds like Macaws, I spotted the first macaw and it was blue and yellow in color and then I saw two more yellow and blue in color. Then we went to the gondola ride it was really scary then its stopped in the middle then it started to jiggle a little after it started going. I saw a bison while going up after that we saw bears enjoying in the pool. Saw a bob cat (mountain lion) lying in the hammock it was funny. And my brother and I played in a small park. I rolled in the grass. After lots of fun things we went home and I slept in a car while going home as I was super tired.

Back to school from spring break.

I was so excited to see my friends faces when I came back to school after spring break. I mostly do not like it if it is not school. Well, today was extra fun. It felt good to be back in the classroom with my teacher and classmates. We got rain at recess so we watched a short film of the movie Piper. And in P.E. we got to play one of our favorite games, Medic. It was fun being back.

I went to my softball game at 5:00 yesterday.
We warmed up. some people warmed up pitching and others warmed up catching balls. I was pitching for the first time. I was on a team with many of my friends. Then the game started I was out field first. No balls came to me then my team was bating.
I was bating 4th. When it was my turn I hit the ball and ran to first base. Then my team kept getting hits so at last I ran to home base. Then my friend was pitching and I was warming up my pitching. After that it was very very cold. Then it was my turn to pitch I got 2 girls out. Then my team was hitting again it was my turn and I ran to second base this time. Finally I ran to home base. Then I was playing second base no balls came to me. then the game was over and it was freezing the game was a tie.-Kate

Easter egg hunt

On Sunday I went to my friend’s house for an Easter egg hunt!
My friend and her friend were already done with two trial rounds so I was in time for the final hunt. Her mom hid the eggs. They were so colorful! Some of them were my favorite colors, lilac and teal. Then we went inside my friend’s room. Soon we were ready to hunt. We did a boys vs girls challenge.
Turns out, we had more that the boys! Then all of us took a big egg, separated the candy and prizes, and we were done! Then me and my friend and her friend went inside to play a game called Equestriad! Soon it was time to go home but I had the best time ever!

Today I got ice cream! My mom and dad bought a rainbow sorbet , with nuts and hot fudge. This must be a very gross combination for you , but I liked it a lot. My favorite sorbet and my favorite fudge! For people who don’t know what sorbet means, a sorbet is a sour ice cream. I only like sorbets. But that’s my opinion. Skateboard

I went out to play and my friend was playing with her skateboard. I asked her "Hey! can I try your skate board" she said Ok! So we can take turns.

It was wobbly at first and scary. I thought that, I would fall, however I stood still like a statue, and didn't fall. Also I asked for more rides; finally saw her ride at the tip-top of the slope. Then she made it happen. Me was kind of jealous of her and I attempted too. However, it was fun and enjoyable on trying new thing.

This was my first ever Holi celebration. Enjoyed spreading color powders all over and on everyone, whoever I met them for the first time.

I was really fearful to go on the stage to dance; however I gathered up myself and never got down the stage until they asked literally to push me down off the stage. I was there until the end of the show. So fun! What to say, I enjoyed it a lot. Spreading happiness like colors :-)

My dentist visit

When I went to the dentist I was scared but the dentist was friendly then they took x-ray and pictures of all of my teeth for the x-ray's they put a small camera and a small light when the dentist puted the camera and the small light in the right side of my mouth it hurted because one of my teeth were moving so it hurted so much. next, for the picture's they did the same thing but there was a hole so they can take picture's. it was hard for me but it was quick too. and this is my first time going to the dentist then the dentist sended some picture's to the doctor and the said everything is fine. there are 3 tooth's that are going to come out and the doctor said it is fine because I sill have baby teeth to come out. and then in the last minute they gave goodie bag's which had a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other thing's the dentist was really fun.- wafiyah

On April 5th it was my dogs birthday. He is a Golden Retriever and his name is Mack and he turned 8 years old. I made him a card and had everyone in my family sign it. Then I made him a present it was a picture of me and him together. After that I called out "lets sing to Mack." Then we sang to him while we gave him a frosty paw which is a treat for dogs. After that I showed him the card that I made and he looked at it and licked me. Then we all sang to him. Then I showed him the present and Mack looked at me like he was saying thanks. I am going to the same thing for my other dog who is also a golden retriever too his birthday is April 20th his name is Waffles. Once upon a time I found a ladybug an angry ladybug! I picked it up to try to calm it down but then it got more angry! It started to yell at me but I had a argument with it! My garden

I got a garden making kit for my birthday and it had been a long time, when I finally opened it. I read the instructions and decided that this process was going to take a long time. So first, I just painted the garden pot that was there. I wrote "FLOWERS" on one side and did floral art on the other. I painted the signs that tell us what flowers were what.(They're called markers). I then let it dry over night. The next day, I did all the planting. I had to take soil and soak it in 2-3 quarts of water. I wanted only 2 quarts so I figured out that I needed 8 cups of warm water cause 4 cups equal 1 quart. The kit had soil discs provided, so I soaked them and waited one hour. The next step was a bit tricky so I asked my dad to assist me. We had to use gloves to scoop up soil and dump it in a pot. The whole area got a little messy and I had to clean it up afterwards. I then took the markers and labeled them with Sharpie. My dad made holes and put in the seeds. We covered them up and I stuck in the markers. I watered them a bit. Then, the instructions said to water them a bit each day. It should take 5-7 days to sprout. I followed those instructions carefully and watered them a bit each day . Today is day 3! 2-4 days till they sprout!

Hello! Did you know I have my own phone? Well, it's basically not my OWN phone it is our common "family phone" which we use to call to my home land India. I have "Whatsapp" in there and most of the contacts are my relatives in India. I use it often to call and chat. Since it is our family phone, I call it as my own. :)
I can still play games on it and watch videos. But I have one thing to say- when most middle schoolers get their phones they probably spend 6 hours on them but I don't even use mine that much. I just hope you all are not going to beg your mom and dad to get you a phone for your next birthday.

I will never forget everything we have done together, I will have to try to bury the time Capsule somewhere my dogs will never go cause they sometimes dig in the yard! I think it was about 3 days ago when my mom and dad bought us ice cream. It was so good. My favorite flavor was the chocolate. It was so creamy and at the end of the cone it was filled with chocolate. It was so yummy😋🍦. And we got sandwiches. The bread of the sandwich was really just chocolate stuff and it took away the flavor of the ice cream so the best one for me was the drumstick. The drumstick had chocolate over the ice cream and it was topped with nuts. If you are allergic to nuts then get the ice cream sandwich.

Trip to Mount Diablo

Hi guys, last week I went to Mount Diablo. It was fun and recreative. I got to stand up on the top of my vehicle to see the view. Whenever my father drove, I was scared as he drove on the edge of the bends and turns. I felt like I was on an exciting ride on a roller coaster, yet after all that we got to the summit point.

After that we hiked for a few minutes and saw people paragliding the gliders. It was so cool, I thought there was a station close by for gliding yet it wasn't there. However, I had a great time filled day there.
