         <title>Pros and cons of DTs</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros:&nbsp;<br>Online quizzing to check understanding of concept taught in a time effective manner, plus identification of common misconceptions.<br><br>Easy to share lesson materials with students if they have missed a lesson etc, or so that they can review that they have noted/ understood things correctly.<br><br>Students are more willing to ask for help outside of class if they can do so quickly using their phones or tablets at home.<br><br>Cons:&nbsp;<br><br>Potential source of distraction (e.g. students opening social media instead of paying attention to the lesson).<br><br>Time is wasted when the lesson is dependent on DTs and the wifi etc goes down. Need to be able to deliver the lesson by more traditional means if this happens.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.distraction level if the activity not planned well.<br>2.The more that technology advances, the faster new and more efficient versions are designed. This is a problem because you may have the newest and best piece of technology, but it will become obsolete in very little time.<br>3. A major social divide among the students who can and cannot afford these technologies.<br>4.totally dependent of wifi if it wont work then you need to continue in other ways.<br>Advantages<br>1.efficient<br>2.time saving<br>3.learners engagement<br>4.Incorporating technology into the classroom means that students have exposure and access to different ways of learning.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Incorporating DT can break the monotony of the classroom, can present information in a new way - increase student engagement in the classroom and can ensure differentiated learning is taking place.&nbsp;This can also be a start to preparing students for higher/uni education where classroom environments are highly digitalized<br><br>However, DT requires more planning than more traditional mediums, backup always required as DT can be unreliable. CIE pressures - student feedback is that 'real' learning not happening, and they prefer notes, more strategies to tackle exam questions. To expect students to collaborate digitally also seems unrealistic because they say outright that they have tuitions which seem more tangible/meaningful. </div>]]></description>
