The Darkness of Death,

Is never forgotten

It remains, unseparated from you

Like a stain on your favorite shirt

Like all the seeds in a watermelon

You can’t get rid of it.

The existence of this imperfection will always exist

But, only bothers us at random times

The constant picking can make it better,

Or worse

The darkness in the light can get smaller

Or bigger

But will never disappear.

What can we do

Besides move on.

What is it about having strict parents,

They don’t give you freedom,

Everytime you ask your mom something she says  “ No”

What is it about having strict parents,

They yell at you for small reasons

But for what?

To be right and feel good about themselves

But for what?

To lower our standards

What is it about having strict parents,

Every little thing you do,

They always start an argument with you.

Don’t you hate when adults you look up to and say,

“ It’s cuz they love you”

They love you? 

If they love you so much they should give you,

More freedom, less arguments, Trust, less yelling, more privacy, 

And the list goes on…
