I'm not a school teacher but I see this course as a great opportunity to meet other space education enthusiasts like me.
I think I was always interested in space, but one occasion that influenced me was when I visited an interactive exhibit about earth and space at the national history museum in London.
I started by studying earth science, and continued with planetary sciences all the way to a Ph.D. Then I realized that what interests me more then space is space education.
On January 2003 I followed Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut with children in my space courses. The loss of Columbia space shuttle with all the crue influenced me, and I turned into STEM education and  Educaitional Technology. On 2014 I had an opportunity to join the SpaceIL team, who participates in Google Lunar XPrize competition, as V.P. of Education. During the two years I've worked in SpaceIL I initiated several projects to promote space education in Israel. I'm happy to participate in this MOOC, and I hope to use it to interest more Israeli teachers and educators to integrate space in their teaching.
