Everyday teachers face different challenges with students, is something one gets use to but in my personal experience there are sometimes I feel really exahusted so I try to think what a good solution could be.
One of the main problem I face everyday is that my students do not like to learn english, they really struggle in the class but because they do not have a positive linguistic attitute towards the language.
Maybe if they implemented 15 minutes of practice in their everyday journey they would be able to understan more and thus to like the English language.

You might think teacher's life is pretty relaxed, I used to believe the same, but now as an elementary school teacher, I can tell how far from reality that idea is. The most common problem inside school classrooms is keeping student's attention. As teachers we need to be able to handle fights between students, listen and try to help kid's dealing with family issues, guide student's trying to find their personality, and more, all this while trying to teach them some useful English skills for their life and, of course, completing school books. So, as you can see being a teacher is much more than just teaching <3

What are three typical problems I face at work? Well, for starters, the sociocultural background of my learners is very diverse. What I mean is that they come from different towns and cities in the state of Michoacan. This leads to them not having the same income resources and they need to spend a lot of money. A second problem is that there is a huge generational gap between most of the professors who teach at this public school and its students. This, of course, creates a lot of misunderstandings between what and how students want to be taught and the actual things and ways professors do it. Last but not least, education is just seen as a means for economical income and not as a means for professional and personal development by at least more than 70% of students. This in turn, does not help with enthusiasm or motivation for learning by students. All in all, there are many options that I see fit to address these issues but none of them would a panacea; therefore, I just do the best that I can. Word count 185

Typical problems I face at work

I teach on Saturdays from 7 am to 8h30 am. I don’t know if this could be a problem but it affects me a little bit. I wake up very early on Saturdays, sometimes I don’t want to get up, however, I do. Well, I take a cup of coffee and then I go to school. My students, some of my students arrive late to classes because they say that they live far of the school and it so early and there isn’t public transportation at that time. After classes, I have to hurry up to arrive early to my connect to my Master Degree classes. Sometimes my coordinator ask me time to explain me things, so I have to talk with him.

At that time my students feel sleepy and they try to pay attention.

Now that I am reflecting on my way of teaching, trying to make my lessons more meaningful and interesting according to the reviewed approaches, and giving my students the best tools for them to acquire their second language, I have found several issues that have stopped me doing my best in the classroom.

It turns out that when I want to present some videos or some slides, I come to the classroom and it doesn’t have any projector. For me, obviously, it is frustrated. Another issue I can say it's when I am teaching and, for some reason, we have to stop the class because the principal asked them to participate in some sports activities.

Since the pandemic the success in teaching English to new generations of students has been quite a challenge, the commitment of the families with the academic formation of their children is kind of lost.
We see lack of empathy from parents to the academic and emotional development of their children, giving this born responsibility to the education system that is not prepared for this task.

The most worrying issue is that the government is doing nothing to avoid a social immediate catastrophe.

Is our duty to grow a strong society and leave that to the next generations but the weaknesses in modern society are taking us with out curse in a challenging future to our country.

When do we become so complex human beings? In what exact moment does life give a 360 degree turn? I mean…being productive individuals, responsible entities, physically & mentally balanced humans takes a great deal of non-stop effort.

Personally speaking, I sometimes find it challenging to arrive to that middle point where life is embraced as it goes, with its natural demands, and still there´s room for relaxation or self-enjoyment.
