Considering we have been doing small lesson plans for a while now I had a sense of direction to go towards. It was very enlightening to actually expand my knowledge and think about the different ways I can engage all students. I do now know that I can write lesson plans, I would just have to give myself enough time to make sure all the details are in there. Planning process consisted of finding an activity that would be engaging but not so difficult that it would detract from the purpose of the lesson.
What was challenging?
Creating an activity for kindergarten. I have moved on to other grade levels and had forgotten about creating lessons for kindergarten students.
What was enlightening?
There are many manipulatives that can be added to teach a lesson.
How can you improve your planning?
Do not try to make assessing students a worksheet or a test.
