David Gilmour is the guitarist and also one of the singers of the Psychedelic Rock Band, Pink Floyd. The influence he has on me is on the sonority he looks for it in his music and solos. His solos are beautiful, creative, and psychedelic according to the rest of the song. Being guided by the sound of it, not only for the technique. As he said in an interview for Guitar World: "I just play whatever feels right at the moment. "I also will use any gadget or device that I find that helps me achieve the sort of sound on the guitar that I want to get.” (Guitarist, 2012).

Kurt Cobain as a leader of one of the most revolutionary bands in the music scenario has a huge influence on me. With his simple songs and depressive way to see life, He was the opposite of the Rock n, Roll in his time, where the Hard Rock was dominant with difficult and techinical songs, sexiest lyrics and a 'I rule the world' attitude, Kurt was a voice to tell the world is not it.

The late psychedelic era of The Beatles had a huge influence on Gilmour and also on Pink Floyd. But for Gilmour, it's not only this era, but the songs, the instruments, the voices, and the production. Once he said in an interview for Mojo “I really wish I had been in the Beatles; [They] taught me how to play guitar; I learned everything. The bass parts, the lead, the rhythm, everything. They were fantastic.” (Fitzgerald, 2021)

The blues guitarist B.B. King is one of the greatest guitarists ever known. He changed the way to play and to do guitar, applying solos and melodies, making the guitar one of the main instruments in the music era. For this reason, he influenced many generations of guitarists all over the world, and one of them was David Gilmour. Once he said about B.B. King: "There are some guitar players who are instantly recognizable, and then there are all the rest.” (Potter, 2022).

David Gilmour style has a huge influence on the blues. His solos uses techiniques as bending the string and using the sonority to achieve it. Once he was asked about being a blues fan and states I "listen to a lot of folk and folk-blues. Leadbelly and Pete Seeger were both big influences on me” (Polcaro, 2021).

The band The Pixies has influenced Kurt Cobain on how he would think his music, how he would create and what he would like his song to be, what he was achieving to do and the differences inside the music itself. In an interview he said: “I was basically trying to rip off the Pixies ... We used their sense of dynamics, being soft and quiet and then loud and hard.” (Savage, 1993). Hearing to Nirvana is able to listen when the music is soft and then hard as much as The Pixies songs.

One of the biggest influences on Kurt Cobain's life was his friend Buzz Osbourne, who had shown Cobain punk rock and some of the bands that changed the vocalist, songwriter, and band-leader of Nirvana, one of the most relevant bands in Rock n' Roll history. In an interview, Kurt Cobain said "Finally, in 1984 a friend of mine named Buzz Osbourne made me a couple of compilation tapes with Black Flag and Flipper, everything, all the most popular punk rock bands, and I was completely blown away" (Savage, 1993). Kurt Cobain discovered a new genre that changed his music and life after that.

Kurt was so influenced by the Punk Rock not only in the music style, but also in the attitude and believes. Black Flag was one of the bands that showed him a new perspective. "Punk expressed the way I felt socially and politically. There were so many things going on at once. It expressed the anger that I felt - the alienation" (Savage, 1993).
