And there are a LOT of questions.
1. How did Laurie be able to convince his parents Charles was real when Laurie was acting rude, like Charles?
2. When everybody started acting like "Charles", was it because of the stories or because Laurie was bringing bad influence? Did his parents think Charles had influenced Laurie?
3. What made Laurie change from the sweet little toddler to a mean rude boy? How come the parents still thought of Laurie as their sweet little boy after seeing how he dressed, talked, and how gleeful he was when the little girl said the bad word?
4. And finally, WHAT MADE LAURIE BE SO MEAN AND RUDE AND WHY DID HE SUDDENLY BECOME SO RESPECTFUL?....Did a real life Charles influence him the wrong way??
5. There are a lot of children who blame imaginary friends for doing what they did. Is Laurie doing the same thing? Was he telling his "clueless" parents that Charles was doing these things; but since your imaginary friends are yours and are you then he was Charles. And since he described Charles as big, no jacket, does that mean Laurie did the same?
6. When Charles was first mentioned and Laurie was thinking, was he thinking how to cover up his tracks? Was he making it so it looked like he was trying to remember the name of the "fresh" boy?
7. Notice how "I" was mindful of the Lord's name after Laurie told her.
