The first tutorial showed me how to reduce the shadows of the subject while still maintaining the vibrancy of the background. The tutorial showed me how I can take advantage of the sliders on the light tab to do so such as shadow, contrast, and highlights.

Different from the first one, the second tutorial showed me how to make certain colors look more vibrant rather than focusing on the shadows and highlights. With this, I learned how to find and utilize the main colors in the image to create a brighter and smoother image. Finally, the tutorial showed me that sometimes cropping an image is important to the final product since it brings the attention to the subject rather than letting the focal point stray to other parts of the picture.
