Question #2: Chapter 2 AI

I used Chat GPT with this topic “ Foods that pregnant women should eat to be as healthy as possible during pregnancy” and the research I got was: To maintain optimal health during pregnancy, women should focus on a balanced diet rich in essential nutrients. Some key foods and nutrients to include are: Fruits and Vegetables. They provide vitamins, minerals, and fiber, which support digestion and overall health. Leafy greens, berries, carrots, and citrus fruits are examples.Whole Grains, whole grains like oatmeal, brown rice, and quinoa are rich in fiber and nutrients, including B-vitamins, iron, and magnesium, which are essential for energy and fetal development. Lean Protein, protein is vital for fetal tissue and brain development. Example are Chicken, turkey, eggs, beans, and tofu. Additionally, fish like salmon provides omega-3 fatty acids that aid in brain development. Folic Acid-Rich Foods; Folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Examples are Dark leafy greens, legumes, and fortified grains.

This information I received from ChatGPT was very informative and correct because my aunt was pregnant not too long ago and was very worried about her diet and when she did some research and went to the doctors, the doctors told her to make sure your auntie strict diet and can only have certain meals.

Question #3: chapter 2 compare and contrast

When I was trying to compare foods that pregnant woman should eat to be as healthy as possible during pregnancy is in chapter 2 section 2.5 threats to developing baby It talks about health problems at birth, and how these physicians routinely put US woman on a strict diet if they gain over 15 pounds and they encourage mothers to not be smoking and drinking. Another comparison is also in section 2.5. It talks about eating a balanced diet and that every women of child bearing age should take folic acid supplements. This vitamin is a part of the B complex, and it protects against the incomplete closure of the neural tube during the first month of development. Contrasting from what I got from the AI is it doesn’t really go into detail or depth on what they should eat exactly, it just talks about going under certain diets but nothing really exactly I don’t want to eat. The two comparisons that I found were. The folic acid’s and B vitamins.

Question #4: Infancy & Toddlerhood

I have picked activities appropriate for infants and toddlers, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional. A credible and valid source that I got was an article from zero to three. It talks about various activities that can help develop infants and toddlers across different domains. A physical development activity can be crawling and playing with simple toys such as blocks because they can help develop motor skills. Cognitive development can be reading books, such as Dr. Seuss and playing peekaboo and offering puzzles for kids because it can help a better understanding of objects. Social and emotional interaction with other infants and toddlers around them because it can help recognize their emotions and build a social connection between the other infants and toddlers. This can also help understand social cues. Source is credible because it’s the nonprofit organization that works with child development experts and they offer research based on resources and their focus audience are the site of target parents.

Comparing this with our book in chapter 3 section 3.4 comparing this with cognition in the book, it talks about emerging objects explaining many puzzles about development and why peekaboo becomes a favorite activity at around eight months. The reason is that a child now thinks there is probably still someone behind those hands, but does not know for sure. Emerging other performance offers a wonderful perspective on why younger babies are so laid-back and when you remove an interesting object, but then become possessive by their second year this basically talks about how many infants and toddlers like playing peekaboo and puzzles because it can help and understand object permanence. And chapter 4.1 it talks about having powerful emotions that flow through a child and in chapter 4.3 they talk about at the age of two toddlers get more complicated, uniquely, human emotions, emerge, pride, and shame that appears self conscious emotions will be a milestone, especially being around other infants can help build a better emotion and connection.

Question #5: Childhood and Intelligence

Providing two real world examples of my intelligence will be applying the gardener, personal intelligence and social skills. Last semester I was in a group project at Henry Ford College and I take a leadership role because I was very familiar with the topic so intaking a leadership role I was making sure everyone participated in my group and I made sure everyone felt valued and I made sure I gave them each a part to do and this was in a chemistry class. We were doing a project on melting certain items and the topic that we had to do as a group laws, melting, ice, and seeing the difference in temperature in each minute that passes by and seeing how long it goes from a solid to liquid to eventually gas and basically I remember I did this at one point in high school so that is why I decided to take leadership in this group. I helped everyone understand what to look for and what to do and we ended up getting a good grade on the project.

An experience of Sternberg’s creative intelligence was storytelling for me. I was in high school and I had a homework assignment. I had to tell you story of why I started to work out and change my body and in my story, I explain what made me start to work out and the workouts that I was doing, and how much I was work

Question #6: Adolescent Book

The two books I have picked are books that we had projects and summaries about when I was in high school and they are "You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone" by Rachel Lynn Solomon and "Eliza and Her Monsters" by Francesca Zappia.

"You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone" by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Adina and Tovah, twin sisters, are followed in this novel when they learn that one of them has Huntington's disease, a genetic condition that will impact their future. The book explores the sisters' complex connection, their family's hardships, and how they handle this devastating news. They deal with their own personal development and emotional upheaval as they get ready for the trials that lie ahead.

Related Concept from Chapter 9: Adolescent Emotional Development: The emotional difficulties that teenagers encounter, like forming an identity and managing high levels of emotional stress, are related to this book. Adolescents' emotional growth includes adjusting to shifting family relationships, health problems, and battles with self-identity—all of which are major themes in this book. Both sisters respond differently to the news, displaying a range of emotional coping strategies that teenagers may likewise employ in the event of a personal crisis.

"Eliza and Her Monsters" by Francesca Zappia

The main character, Eliza Mirk, is a quiet, introverted teenager who also happens to be the writer of a well-known webcomic. Although she is well-known online, she suffers from social anxiety and feels cut off from her peers in real life. Her two worlds begin to intersect when she meets a real-life fan of her work, and she must learn to balance her online persona with her everyday struggles.

Related Concept from Chapter 8: Social Identity and Media Influence in Adolescence: This book connects to the idea of how teenagers' lives are shaped by media, technology, and social identity. Although Eliza's online identity helps her escape from her insecurities in the real world, it also hinders her personal growth. As covered in Chapter 8 of our textbook, the book illustrates how kids today use social media and technology to negotiate their identities, a topic that is becoming more and more important in contemporary adolescence.

In keeping with themes of personal identity, emotional development, and the influence of media, these two volumes provide profound insight into the emotional, social, and psychological difficulties that adolescents encounter.

When I took the Holland career test one the results were very accurate. I am realistic and social. This explains me a lot because for example I am a very social person, especially when I am not used to my surroundings. I talk to everyone around me and I try helping out everyone around me being realistic to me basically means I don’t hold back the truth with anyone or anything, I always tell it how it is so this, I feel very confident about such as one I noticed my friends changed something about him, and I caught out in a moment and I told him about it and he said I was the only one that caught it and it was a weight belt

Holland’s career test two was accurate in some ways, but not fully. They gave me almost the exact same results, but it did change up a little bit about me for an example, it said I was artistic more and I feel like that is right because I always try telling my friends let’s go to a art museum because I really do like looking at art, looking at paintings sculptures, and everything around me and it did also give me realistic, and social.

Question #8: Feedback on AI use

This was my first experience using AI for a class assignment. I found it to be very interesting such as how it gave me the full summary and bullet points of the topic. Basically when I use ChatGPT, I really liked how I summed up the articles for me and put it all out there for me to read and highlighted the most important information from it. Some dislikes I have about it is even if it is AI I can’t really trust it to make sure it is correct so I will still have to do background information just to make sure that the information they gave me was correct , and when I did do that the source that they gave me was valid and incredible information. I don’t plan on using an AI again unless it is required in another assignment only because I would like to do my learning my summaries and my notes myself rather than have a generated AI system doing it itself. If there’s anything I wanna share about this experience using AI it is that if you are having some trouble understanding a certain topic a certain subject try using AI to help solve the problem for you and ask for a video also that way it might give you a better understanding on how to solve your equation or your problem.
