— All information you need is written on a stem and must be read before you enter a station. The stem indicates what you have to do and what you don’t have to do. For instance, you are informed that a station requires you to show clinical skills; in some stations you have to take only medical history, and in some stations you will be asked questions. 

— The examiner can interrupt you and ask you to reread the stem if you are doing unnecessary actions. 

— You can be asked to bring a stethoscope, an otoscope, or a neurological hammer. You can’t bring your own pens and notebooks. They are provided for you, and you have to return it back after the exam. 

— Confidentiality is important. Students are not allowed to communicate during the exam. Sometimes they can be asked to not communicate after the exam as well.
