Poetry mostly includes theme, mood ,and is very lyrical. You think of it as a short song. For example, in a stanza(is a grouped set of lines within a poem) can have only 4 lines and have a strong meaning. a poem can give the reader emotions and those emotions are create a mood. The theme is the overall meaning of a poem and is a factor to the mood which makes them both elements of poetry.
