I believe fundations is strong in teaching foundational reading skills. I feel our staff has been well trained at our k-2 levels and implement it well.

Teachers will continue to look at the curriculum and make modifications based on the priority standards. We know that phonics in K-2 is something that we are working on. Its hard to do Fundations remotely, so we are expecting and planning for anticipated gaps in instruction.

With such a heavy reliance on technology, we looked at what materials were available to support in person and remote learning
We integrated social studies and science in literacy instruction. Ex: there was no time to do the full Passport or Amplify curriculum.
