         <title>Nobles (Lords)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nobles were the vassals of the kings. They were also lords of lower nobles and knights. They fought for the kings and in return for their service they received land. Nobles had to  give upper lords money on special occasions, food, and shelter if needed. If Nobles gained enough land they could become a lord.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Peasants (Surfs)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Peasants could not own land. They worked on a land owned by a lord. Peasants were not allowed to leave the land. In return for their hard work they got small land for farming and protection. Though life wasn't easy, the peasants had to work late in the fields. The men mostly did the farming, women usually made clothes, cooked, grew vegetables, and gathered firewood. Children also worked they tended to the children and chickens.<br><br></div>]]></description>

She became queen after she married King Loius VII, she then divorced him and became queen of England after marrying Henry II. But she spent most of her time ruling her own territory.
