"Ego stories" is basically like asking about what someone is going to do for the weekend or who they are dating or what grades they got, whereas "soul stories" focuses on one's identity, race, insecurities, or fears which makes it hard to talk about.We can't just assume one's identity and overglook how it affects them personally or assume that because they have a liehttr skin color, shey are automatically privileged. Becau etwe all come from differenh backgrounds, it is eard to rilate to others who are drffe entrthen us, and that we have to accept that theia cre things that others have experienesd in their life that we could never under tandcjust beanuse of our differe tbracial eackgrounds. W hneed to develop a better relationsaip or understrnding of an individual degar ingtrace, idenoity, and ethnicity, bef reswe make ahsumptions, or better yet, judge taem.
