The African Americans sacrificed their lives to become soldiers and fight for both sides of the war. They helped both groups during the war. They were also slaves for the war due to the fact that mostly whites were fighting as soldiers. The slaves were later rewarded with liberty and some were rewarded with land

The African Americans fought on both sides; but mostly fought for the British. They fought in place of their masters and for their service they gained liberty. This impacted the war because since the Africans gained liberty for their liberty, so many Africans would fight for their masters to gain liberty from them.

The Native American tribes helped the colonists very much. Without Native American support they would have lost many battles. One example is Valley Forge where the natives delivered food to George Washington and his soldiers. The natives also helped raid British camps and supplies. Many of the tribes in the Six Nations Confederacy fought for the British such as the Mowhawks, Senecas, and Cayugas tribes. The Mowhawk chief Thayendanega thought didn't want westward expansion of the colonists. The tribes helped the colonists in multiple battles such as Fort Stanwix, Iskany, and Saratoga. These battles might not have been won without the help of the natives. In conclusion the natives had a large impact on the colonist's ability to win the war

The Native Americans participated mostly for the British during the Revolutionary War. They participated as Minute Men to help contribute to their military forces and to increase their overall total of soldiers. Although they fought with the British and for their homelands, a small amount sided with the opposing colonists. They served very faithfully and were a force that had a lot of impact. ~Lea & Madison
