I currently don't possess enough knowledge on legal issues and policies in education. I feel as though these areas are important and could be improved by learning more on this topic and gaining more experience in the field of school counseling. Although I may have only mentioned 1 area of improvement for myself, I assure you that there are many more areas that I can improve in. I understand that these improvements will surely come with time. I was thoroughly impressed with my results in the area's I felt more confident in. 

I did however do pretty well in most of the behavior category. As an educator my job is to advocate, demonstrate understanding of the impact of cultural, social and environmental influences on students' success and opportunities. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a registered behavior technician. I have quite an extensive amount of experience in data collection, and ethical understanding. I have noticed that in the School Counselor Competency there are several areas to consider and understand when pursuing a career as a school counselor. Being competent  by obtaining knowledge, having the skills to be a counselor, and possessing the attitude and mindset of an effective counselor. Much like my colleagues, I had great success in the mind set portion of the competency.
