Low-Angle Shot.

A Low-Angle shot is when the camera is almost looking up at the scene. The shot is used mainly to show higher power or challenge.
In this video (0:53) Coraline confronts her other mother, as she turns into a horrifying creature everything around her turns dark. This shows a shift in power (and shape). The close up is looking at the other mother while she is turning into a spider. This shows how Coraline is now trapped, almost stuck in the now dark world. This also shows the power of the other mother that was hidden. This shot is kinda like the typical low angle shot, however the movie uses it show a change in the mood almost turning it into a horror movie.

A close-up shot is when they zoom up so you can only see the face or the whole thing but the object is small. It is mainly used when to show the change in face or if their is something important that was not seen. Some example's is when something is happening on the face that other shots can't get or when there is something that was left on the ground that was important.
0:30-0:36 Seconds is when they zoom in to show the transformation of the character into a different character.

Transitional Objects link scenes or cuts together, They link two characters together and show either their similarities or differences.
In Kung Fu Panda 2 (the clip under is the final battle), Po Finds inner peace and channels his power to fling back the cannon fire. The object in this scene in the cannon fire. The whole purpose of the movie was to find "Inner Peace". The cannon fire shows how both have reflected upon their history and how they dealt with it. Po obviously choosing to let it go and look towards the future(hence he's able to fling back the canon) while Shen let it settle and eat him on the inside (hence the cannon blowing him up).

Non Diegetic Sound

A Non Diegetic sound is sound that is not part of the natural world is heard. The sounds could be voice over's,Music, or just something that is not supposed to be there. There could also be sound affect's. Is mainly is used to enhance people emotions or add sound effect if a person is telling a story
In Real steel they take a sparring bot and use it to fight against a more advanced robot but throughout the clip you can hear music playing. It may not be very loud but you can hear it and it adds to the fight because everyone is expecting the tiny robot to lose but you can hear the music which adds onto the fight to make it more dramatic
