Many things about the environments we live in and our genes can affect or even pre-determine our health. A dusty living place is bad to live in, as it can cause different things like asthma and allergies (Health Promotion & Disease Prevention
Section 1). Dust is made up of tons of different things, some harmful, so it's best to keep your house clean. All types of noise increase stress. Living in a messy environment can be stressful, and lots of noise can stress people out, and even cause hearing damage. Always find a quiet place when doing work. The genes that we inherit from our parents can pre-determine some health aspects. "Other changes in genes can cause health problems" (Health Promotion & Disease Prevention Section 1). If cancer is a problem for your parents or even grandparents, you will have a much higher risk of having a similar problem later on in life. Even the effects of smoking can be passed down a generation.

Back in November, we got our first dog. My brother was still in college and he wasn't coming back very frequently to see us. About the second time he came back, and saw the dog again, he noticed he was having some asthma problems. So many asthma problems, that he was having major trouble breathing. He had to leave and stay over at my grandma's house. About two days later he finally came back.
