Hair:
  • The hair at the crime scene was Anna Garcia's because the cuticle on the sample of Anna's hair matched the one from the crime scene.
Shoe Print:
  • The shoe print from the crime scene was from Anna's shoe. Anna's shoe had a V on the bottom of it and on the print there was a V right where Anna's shoe had a V.
Finger Print:
  • The fingerprint found at the crime scene had a radial loop pattern and Alex was the only one with a radial loop.
Pills:
  • I think the pills found at the crime scene were aspirin because the aspirin we tested and the unknown substance was white, powdery and fizzed to indicator 1. The reaction to 2 and 3 was they both went black and clumped up quickly.

  • When we ran our blood spatter test we dropped blood from various heights starting from 0cm going up by increments of 20 cm to 200 cm. We then graphed the diameter of the spatter for each point and also graphed the diameter of the spatter found at the crime scene. We found that Anna must have fell or gotten hit from 60cm to 80cm.

I think the pills were on the ground because Anna had been taking them for her back pain. The phone and table were knocked over because she had tried to grab the phone and call 911. There was a needle on the ground because thats what Alex had used to kill Anna.
