I was grateful that we pre-conferenced to prepare myself with the right tools for collecting specific data. 
For one teacher I observed teacher-talk vs. student-talk and kept track of minutes for each. We also videoed this lesson for easy referral again. 
For another teacher, I observed active engagement, strategic compliance, or non-engagement. I liked being able to help my fellow teachers improve themselves, and I feel that my role was instilling confidence in the amazing techniques already being used!
