In this experiment, I shortened the length of my helicopters propellers. From a height of (approx.) 20 feet. The default helicopter spun 3 1/2 times, while the shortened-propeller helicopter spun barely 1/2 of a spin. Although I accidentally cut shorter than I would've like to, I had to go with it because making a new helicopter is too inconsistent with my rookie-level craftsmanship. I theorize that the helicopter spun less with it's propellers shortened than not, because there is less mass to catch the fall, rendering it unable to spin as well.

I wanted to see if shortening the wings would make the helicopter spin more. The wings were originally 2 inches and spun, on average, 4 times before hitting the ground. I changed the wings to 1 inch long. The spin average was 4.5. The independent variable was the wing length. The dependent variable was how many times the helicopter spun.
