The War That Saved My Life looked like a good book for many different reasons. I wanted to read this book because I remembered that in 4th grade we did book clubs. My book club had a book called A Lion To Guard Us. I read the back blurb on this book, and it sounded a bit similar to that book, only with it's own twist. I also like to read books about the past, so this book sounded perfect to me! I'm very excited to read this book during the reading time.

I wanted to read this book because it looked very intriguing. If you ever are interested in a book, then I suggest that you read the back blurb. I read it for this book, and it sounded really good. I read a book called Micheal Vey, Prisoner of Cell 25, and I liked how it was very action filled, and this book sound like it is action filled as well! I really like books that keep me on the edge of my seat! I'm really excited to read The Canyon's Edge!

I chose to read The One and Only Ruby because I have read the The One and Only Ivan and I really enjoyed it. I like the way Katherine Applegate gets you inside the head of the animal characters and I am interested to see how the character Ruby compares to Ivan.
