The Mohawk river separates the two cities of Angel Falls and Hoga. There is only one bridge that connects the two cities. The traffic is very high and is out of control on the first bridge. Officials say they are going to put in a second bridge. That's where we come in!

Beam. Because it was the simplest of bridges to build

What were some constraints you had to plan around?
We can only use four sheets of paper and two feet of masking tape. We couldn't tape your bridge down on the testing platform

What was the criteria that you had to meet?
Are bridge must have a length of at least 12 inches and a width of a least 3 inches. It must be able to support the weight of pennies. Boats also need to be able to pass underneath

The bridge has three supports. Two on the ends and one in the center. On top is a deck about a 1 1/2 feet in length

We would probably build a beam bridge again. We would add more supports.
