Just 51 years old when she was diagnosed. She fought a hard fight for 10 months but sadly, this disease proved to be too much. She was the kindest soul and had the best laugh. Carlis B. Wilson. He was a wonderful man and left behind a beautiful wife, three daughters and six grandkids. His diagnosis was shocking and  so was the time he lived past that - only a short two weeks. I wish I could do more to combat this terrible cancer! It takes so many good people too soon. Seeing what my Dad went through the last week of his life was awful. I am proud he beat the cancer, but extremely said the chemo weakened his heart. We need to find a cure!  My father was a amazing man, served in the Navy for 27 years, then worked as a social worker in a very poor Appalachia part of Ohio. This man gave all. He left behind a wife of 49 years, 2 daughters, one granddaughter and one grandson. My Dad was a young, healthy 52 year old in 2012 when the world came crashing down. We all knew this was a devastating diagnosis but he was determined to give it his all. He passed at the age of 53, a mere 7 months after diagnosis. 

My uncle was diagnosed several years later and passed within a week of diagnosis. 

Diagnostic tools and treatments have got to improve!
