Hii my name is Sariyah and I am currently a senior at Harmony science academy, but I do attend ACC as well. I am in an early college program, which means I will graduate with my associates. I am 17 years old and will turn 18 on February 6th. I am currently taking 5 other acc classes, not counting this one. What I hope to get out of this class is a deeper insight about United States history. Honestly I’ve retaken this class 2 times, so I hope the third time is a charm and I’ll pass. I’ve been working at Chick-fil-a for almost a year in February. I recently lost my closest friend due to gun violence in October, and since then I’ve been feeling unmotivated and drained. That really made me view life on a deeper level. Dealing with that, managing work, college classes, and high school classes have been stressful but I’ve coped. I am a part of 3 clubs, which are Hosa, Mock Government, and National Honor Society. I have a tiny white dog named Ivory. In my free time I watch tiktok or practice driving. I love to play basketball, volleyball, and track. I don’t have a favorite artist, I listen to a lot of different genres of music. One artist that I do listen to is Rod Wave. He’s helped me through pain and happiness. I have recently started to listen to him more. My favorite movie would have to be Princess and the Frog because my mom would put that on for me every night. A show that I am recently watching is “Your Honor” and it is getting really good.

Cruises

I went to Comzel, Mexico and it was really beautiful. There were so many things to do on the cruises ship that I was never bored.

Work Life

I have a love/hate relationship with my job. It depends on the shift and the co workers on the day. My hours are not consistent so some weeks I work more or less.

Trailrides

I got into trailrides with my aunt, so every once and a while we'll attend one. Since my aunt is now pregnant we really haven't been going as much.
