Q1.The pros and cons.
The pros for transitioning to digital media is its very convenient for the audience to be able to read the news anytime and anywhere aswell being very light and compact to carry around. The audience reading the news online are much younger then the audience who read the news on paper thus very a more variety of audience to write news for aswell with the benefit of the online media the audience can easily give info or their point of view to any journalist asking for info about the news they are about to cover it can be easily done on the online media aswell online is alot more engaging allowing them to have more point of views to work with to produce their news.Lastly online media can be a center for news and be easily found be the audience if they are looking for news to read.

Cons
The problem with online media people can give fake news or info to the journalist thus ruining of their the news they are covering another issues to online is that the readers need a constant and stable connection for them in order to read the news this also adds the problem the device need power to keep the device active. The online media quickly dissolves the old system forcing their audience to adapt to a new system they may not be comfortable with.

Benefits outweigh the cost?
Yes the benefits have outweigh the cost due many reason such as the audience being young can be very curious or very keen to the news thus them signing up for subscription to feed their curious and keen to found the news.News organization can also partner up with other organization for a special privilege the audience can get tickets to a concert or a game in their country for being a subscriber to their news organization. The benefits of the online media definitely outweigh the cost the news organization have to worry about

One of them major benefits to print media transitioning to digital is that the news being published is able to adapt to the lives of their audience. The audience are able to access the news that is written the night before, the next morning. This eliminates the risk of your audiences missing any news as they will be able to come across it at any time. Another way that the print media will benefit from transitioning to digital, is that they are able to get an immediate response from readers regarding the news they have published. This will benefit the media by allowing them to be more transparent with the information they have, which will also create a more personal relationship between them and the audience. One of another major upside to transitioning to digital media is that the media is able to publish more reliable content and proof such as videos, whereby allowing the audience to create their own opinion regarding the news itself. Along with this, the media is also able to quickly publish breaking news, eliminating the need to print and as well as the cost for the materials in production.

The downside of print media transitioning to digital is that there will be less of a process when ensuring that the news that they publish is true and factual. With that, it is also possible that the audiences will see the news being published as 'fake' news because it is being published among other news media outlets that have published fake news before. A downside that can effect the people is that it requires less labour to publish news online. This means that many people could lose their jobs in the print media. The most important material that the online media requires is the Internet. Without the Internet, online news media will not be able to reach the mass audience that they should have access to. In the case that the Internet is not accessible, the audiences will have to depend on traditional, print media.

The benefits definitely outweigh the costs when it comes to the print media transitioning to digital media. The times are changing and a lot of younger audiences are accessing the news through the Internet, as more online news media have resorted to publishing online.

The pros is that people can access the news everywhere, anywhere at anytime. Back then, in order to let the people know what happen around the world or around them, they need to read newspaper. Society is improving, many people had became busier than before, thanks to modern digital devices, those busy people can read the news online without buying the newspaper. Local news are no longer only known by the people that bought the local newspaper, with the help of social media, people can share the news through social media and eventually from around the world will know the news.

Thanks to smartphone everyone can capture any moment whenever there is an incident. In the past, it is a job for journalist to go to the location to capture the incident and publish on newspaper so other people can know about this incident. But now, other people can quickly know the incident through internet. This mean they have replaced the job of what a journalist should do.

Compare to the old days, nowadays, people have more access to the news but most newsrooms are shrinking but from what we may see, that disruption will be a huge advantage for them. Today, we can get the news we want and when we want it. Compare to the old days, we don’t have to wait for a specific time to watch or listen to the news. Now all the kind of new we want is just one click away. We are in control of our own learning as we can have access to it anytime. Time is changing and due to that, the way information is being revealed has to also change and evolve. We see that back in the days the media only shows us news that they believe we should know but nowadays the media should show us why we should believe what they are telling us. In today's world we see that although people are more on the digital side, they haven’t turn away from news instead we can say that this new technology is bringing in a new audience to the news. This has also been a huge advantage as anyone can publish anything about a certain matter, if a certain media is lying about a certain matter, someone else may have a video or a picture that will showcase the truth. Moreover, compare to print media that is only being spread in a specific

But nothing has a good side it also needs a dark side. The Cons can be like since anyone can publish anything online, the spreading of fake news can happen and sometimes we have no way to check whether these sources are true or not. We have no ideas of which source to trust since they are not trusted brands. Another disadvantage can be that since the revenue of newspapers has decreased, the salary of those journalist may not be as high as they used to be.

No, it wont totally kill the print media due the internet being a very new way to get news not alot of people have adapted to it and might consider not to be trustworthy then the news print they are very use to and trust when it comes to getting their news.Another good reason print media wont die is that the news written can be trustful due with the journalist writing them by going conference interviewing face to face just by being there they can write the news on print media with 100% facts and truth on it while online could do the same but it can altered due people form online could be giving news that arent real thus ruining the story they have written and putting their news in trouble for giving fake and untruth news.

Moreover, for people that cant afford for digital gadgets, they will read news through newspaper. Although newspaper is not eco friendly but it can be recycle. Newspaper might die one day when the earth is extremely lack of trees.

Why die? When the earth is lack of trees, as papers is made for trees. Next, when everyone started to think newspaper is useless and it is space wasting. Thats when newspaper die, and the produce of newspaper stop. People wanted to save money as e news is free. Is because when people appreciate the traditional thing, newspaper had changed different form , form big one pice to now like a magazine, and is coloured.

Is newspaper still a need?

The future of journalism will probably involve more digital. Maybe in the future, a robot, AI could become a journalist too. First the biggest latest is live, not sport Live only, is everything. Everyone can Live stream about anything, selling, sharing life, and more. Maybe in the future, Live is a normal thing that everyone do, this might affect the journalist. If other people which pass by the crime scene, and he open Live, then the viewer have know the case, then the description about the case that the journalist got to write on the article will be even difficult, because most of the thing the audience already know more or less. The sales of newspaper will go down. Live is so popular as you don’t need to pay to open an account, you can even earn when you’re opening a Live.

In the future, the need of newspaper is decreases. To target new audience and new “buyers” newspaper will turn to E newspaper.

The pros of print media transitioning to digital media is that the audiences are in control of our own learning. Besides that, the world will become more democratic which means that audiences voice will MATTER more than ever. The pros of digital news media is that people can read and have news anywhere, anytime. Furthermore, the audiences that read news are much younger compared to 10 or 20 years ago. People are able to read news easily simply with a touch of a finger. There are also a variety of journalists now with the digital print media. With this, the audiences also can give out informations and their point of views on the relevant subject. In the digital era, news media have to adapt to fit our behaviour as we no longer need to fit our behaviour to their cycles. Which means the news is more convenient, it satisfies our curiosity whenever we want, we have news in our pocket and people are as curious as they have ever been. Therefore, I conclude and believe the benefits outweighs the costs for print media transforming digitally.

The cons of print media transitioning digitally is that its going to be hard to verify from knowing the truth which is inevitable. Besides, the labourers for journalism will be lesser as there will be more novice journalists in print media. There will also be less labours publishing news online which means many people may not have a job or will not earn as much as the people who worked in print media and journalism used to. The dark side of print media transitioning to digital is that the spreading of hoax and fake rumours are published more easily as it is now done online. The reasons to why people do this is for money as negative content always brings more attention to people. This fake news and rumours that goes viral transforms into money for digital print media organisations and journalists.

However, I do feel the benefit outweigh the costs of print media transitioning to digital. There are more pros than cons for prints media to transition to digital print media and journalism. As the time is significantly changing and everyday there are new researches and findings out there, I believe its time for print media to take it to the next level using the digital media as their main platform.

Print media will not die because we all needs news. Although, there are powerful forces that have been working against newspaper for 20 years in changing consumer behaviour or making people have less time reading the news, the print media will not die because people feed on newspaper and informtions. Humans purpose will be defeated if there is no curiosity and information for people to lean on. Newspaper will thrive in the digital era as more reporters and photographers working on telling the real story, more reporters on the move to verify on how unbiased or biased the stories that are put of there. There will be more web developers to tell the story online. Furthermore, the obituary feature are most popularly read online and most used on print. It is the one area that internet has enhanced the news through online condolences and etc. Print media are the watchdogs and protector of media and public that have the publics back. The print media is the force to help people get their truth, fight for peoples rights. Newspaper are the protector of first amendments as the results of community can communicate how well first responders do their job. Therefore, the print media makes sure everyone does their job righteously. To sum up, print media will forever stay significant and will not die out as old technologies don’t disappear.Technologies are bringing new audiences for news that probably would’ve not consumed news in older formats. More than half of people aged 18-40 read news everyday but most of them read digitally. Newspaper circulation revenue upped to 5% last year for the first time in a decade so as what that was disrupting print media can now also save it.

Besides that, audiences will more actively be reading and participating on the news. For instance, audiences can share their thoughts, fight for justice on a bigger scale to help protect the nation worldwide. The news media have now fit to adapt to our behaviour instead of us fitting to theirs for the last few decades. The future of journalism will have alight with local businesses in a war against amazon and google to make sure we will continue to have stores in community.
